A non-matriculating student is a student that is enrolled at Johnson College as a non-degree seeking student. The student can be taking classes for a variety of reasons, but they can only enroll in up to 9 credits before they must formally apply to Johnson College.

Enrollment as a nondegree seeking student does not imply acceptance in to the college as all application requirements still need to be met. In addition, non-matriculating students are not eligible for any type of financial aid.

All students interested in taking classes as a non-matriculating student must go through the enrollment office.

The formation and/or continuation of class sections and courses of instruction are subject to adequate enrollment. The college administration reserves the right to cancel a program, course or section, to change the time of meeting, to subdivide a section, or to combine two or more sections as circumstances may require. In the event the program is cancelled a full refund will be issued to the student. I understand and agree that my enrollment into college-level courses is not a commitment on the part of Johnson College to my being admitted to any of its degree programs of study. As a non-degree student, I understand and agree that I am not eligible for financial aid. I also understand and agree that if I wish to be admitted to a degree program at Johnson College, that I will need to complete a formal application and that all requirements still need to be met for acceptance. I further understand and agree that the grades I earn and the credits I complete may be used as part of the evaluation for determining my qualifications for acceptance. These courses may be used to satisfy the requirements for the designated program of study, if and when I am admitted.
